Do you think our health system is effective?
Meaning … Are you satisfied with your visit to the doctor or do you feel about something missing? Are you going to get referred to another doctor yet? If you pay for doctor visits for only a dollar five antibiotics? (These are prescribed too much anyway) Do you think insurance organizations have the meaning of health care system prefer inefficient treat the symptom, not the cause? I ie, the physician must be something more than a correction of the symptoms and assess all lifestyle and help more in the long term health?
My doctor is great! Love him and I'm pretty happy with it. I do not need a reference. If I need an antibiotic used a script for me when I ask him, unless that the symptoms are more serious. YES! Business Ins treat the symptoms – would rather pay someone who has a heart attack to pay someone to go to nutrition counseling, exercise programs and preventive medications. I know this is a fact because I worked for a health insurance company processing claims, and my wife is a nurse. The whole system is a big mess. Insurance companies and doctors are trying to charge more to blame.
