Health Hazards In The Workplace

Health hazards at work?

I work at a company that employs over 400 people. In the bathrooms and kitchen, the water never gets hot, no matter how long you run it. Is it a health hazard … and is something that can be reported in Anonymous?

Yes it is. State laws vary slightly PROCEDURE some such as the use of gloves. But water must always be at least 165 degrees. It is a health hazard because it is not hot enough to kill bacteria that may be in the hands or dishes. Soap is not always enough. You should be able to inform the Ministry of Health. But tell your boss first repair. If you go running to the Ministry of Health, the entire store can be closed. If your boss refuses to do something, then call the health service. The local police must be able give a number. And in some states are obliged to respond if someone calls.
