Community CCRx Basic….WellCare PDP….First Health Part D premier….Which one is the best provider?

Hello. I haven’t had any dealings with the first one you mentioned. I’ve heard pretty good things about First Health Part D. I can tell you one thing for sure, though. Stay as far away from Wellcare as you can possibly get. If there is any possible way they can keep you from getting your medications, they will find it. The first customer service representative you talk to will tell you one thing, then you can hang up and call right back, get a different customer service person, and they will tell you something completely different. If you qualify for extra help paying for your prescription drugs, you have a hek of a time getting them to acknowledge it, and they will ask you for something to prove you qualify for the extra help. You send the proof to them, and even though you sent them exactly what they as for, they say it’s not what they need and ask for something else. It is a nightmare to deal with them. My husband has had WellCare Signature PDP for 2 years now, and this year we switched to Advantra RX Value. I hope it is better than WellCare. He also had Humana the first year and they were great. The only reason we switched to WellCare is because it was cheaper and Humana had raised the premium up where we could no longer afford it. I hope this helps you. I hate to rant and rave like that, but I don’t want to see another living soul go through what we have with WellCare.
