I have heard that with the healthcare reform, that Tri-care will be affected. “Legislation has now been passed to reduce the payments from Medicare and Tricare to our service providers by 21% – which means that many providers may choose to drop us from there patient pool! We are now facing a 21 percent cut on Medicare payments – a cut that will surely compromise access to care for Medicare patients and for military families whose TRICARE coverage is based on Medicare rates.”

Is it true that tri-care is going to be affected by the asinine health care reform that Congress is ineptly dealing with? So what does this mean for military families, less family practice doctors who will accept tri-care so now many have to be moved back to the base hospitals or will families now have to pay a co-pay for basic appointments?
