Current Events Health Care Reform

current events health care reform
If the majority of USA opposes health care reform, why is Congress still considering the bill?

The majority of Americans do not want health care reform, and the opposition to it is growing. Why not just drop the issue for now and deal with things that the voters want done?

I sure can understand why pharmaceuticals and insurance companies and hospitals support it, as they have the most to gain economically. Not sure why most Americans would support it though.

Oh sweetheart, welcome to US Politics! The administration is absolutely panicking to get this health care bill through – why? Because the libs have been trying for decades, and they think that with the economy in the crapper and the fact that Obama had such high popular votes, it is time to make the move!

The constituents do not matter! Look at the town hall meeting reactions. And then the libs come back saying they are mobs and Nazis.

Here is a quote from Hillary Clinton from 2003:
“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic, and we should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

It’s all double-standards and hypocrisy.

The issue will not die unless it is in Congress. It will be pushed and publicized until there is no possible way for it to pass. And if it does pass, then you will see the States invoking the 10th Amendment and cutting it off on that level.

The voice of the people no longer matter. And THAT is what infuriates Americans. Not the fact that the bill is being entertained, but that our voices are not being heard.

Yes, some people want the bill (aside from the lobbyists of the pharms, etc.). However, socialists exist, even in the USA.

Polls are a double-edge sword. Take them with a grain of salt.

I personally think that MORE people are against the bill and Obama than the polls let on. But that’s just me :)

I think that the agenda is for the US to get Universal Health care and then unite North America into one Country. Then, we will see a globalized currency.

The US is the last true capitalist country, and the power-hungry libs want to destroy it. They want all the power. As cliche as it sounds, they want to rule the world :) So to hell to anyone who stands in their way!
