Confidentiality Policy Health Care
NVQ health care/children. Safeguarding children?
Hi, I need to find the act? policy? that states when safeguarding children (suspected of being abused etc) you do not have to abide by confidentiality & data protection.. I have been looking for this for ages and cannot find the wording in children’s act etc..
Please help 
I’m not sure of the actual wording but the issue is as follows:-
Decisions about whether to respect confidentiality must have regard to the level of risk to the individual and/or others and their capacity to understand the decision. In some circumstances the persons’ wishes may be overridden in favour of consideration of safety for the person and other vulnerable adults.
Privacy and Protection
