I’m a pre-nursing major but it is so damn hard to get into nursing program and so competitive, so i’m thinking switching my major to health science, but what kind of jobs can i get after i graduate??
You could work in any kind of community health program, these may be administrator or coordinator jobs or office jobs. There are lots of opportunities for health science majors in non-clinical settings. But if you want to be a nurse, I would really encourage you to do that since you are almost guaranteed to make more as an RN than someone in an office setting. Besides, there is a huge nursing shortage. Think about applying to a community college nursing program. One thing I have learned is not to shortchange yourself or bow out of something due to competition. You may regret later that you underestimated yourself. If this isn’t the case, go confidently in the direction of Health Sciences major. Community health is likely to mean any kind of patient care service (clinic, office, health center) in a public venue.
