HELP!? What is a good back up major and what kind of jobs could i get with it?
Hey! I am struggling on thinking of a back up major. I am currently going to a Community College where Radiology Tech is offered but it is EXTREMELY competitive, and it goes by a point system, this is my first year applying so the applicants that didn’t make it in last year who re-apply are already ahead of me! So if I don’t get in this school or two of the other schools that I am applying for it I will need a back up major, which I am interested in suggestions…I was thinking Health Care Management, maybe Human Resources? If anyone has an suggestions that can help me out that would be AWESOME! My parents are like PICK SOMETHING bc they don’t want to pay for school forever!!
I definitely recommend you choose a degree that you’re comfortable with. However, simply choosing one because you think it will produce a real world job may not work. Its a good idea, of course, but if it isn’t for you then you may find yourself miserable or not taking advantage of your degree. Someone majoring in business may find a very bad job after graduation while someone in a very bizarre degree program may make it big.
