Is the media pro-Obama and anti-Hillary?
I’ve noticed that virtually every major news network (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) and most news magazines (Newsweek, Time) have all jumped on the Obama bandwagon and always seem happy to blow up an anti-Hillary story. Everytime I see a pundit on tv, they’re literally frothing at the mouth whenever they try to criticize Hillary Clinton or Bill Clinton, as if they get an orgasm everytime they say something mean-spirited and negative about the Clinton campaign. The analysts rarely ever bring up anything negative about Obama, and if they do, it’s always within the context of how Hillary is distorting the truth and his sins aren’t as bad as they seem (even when he lies flat out about positions on single payer health care or his “not present” votes in Illinois). The news magazines are also bad..guys like Jonathan Altar talk about the Clintons patronizing Americans, thinking Americans are stupid enough to buy their ads in SC. Why are political journalists and pundits so crass and unprofessional?
Absolutely! This type of news is what get people all fired up, basically most people a swayed very easily by what the media says or prints. Just take a look at how they can totally destroy a celebities life, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy, Christine Onassis, Anna Nicole Smith, Nicole Richie, The Olsen twins, Mel Gibson, Brittany Spears, Princess Diana, Lindsey Lohan, just a few. Heath Ledger, wait until they get done with him. If it can make a headline, they will print it. Granted there were personal problems that the Clintons while in office, but we had a balanced budget, industry was better, unemployment rates were lower, inflation was less, petroleum per barrel was half what it is today, the American dollar was actually worth something. How quick we forget the formable women that stood behind and beside that president. Why, because people are drawn into listening to the mud slinging, they are nieve and easily swayed. Then add a smooth, eloquent politian, that has been evasive or side steps questions, and yet is first in line to persecute his opponent on issues they actually voted for, because unlike him they actually chose to make a decision. They can actually say they made a decision, where as he can only state he was “present” that way he couldn’t be held accountable for the decision that was rendered. Pretty smart on Obama’s part, but it makes me wonder, what would he do if he had to make choices about the operation of our country, you can’t just push a button to say you were “present”! He has not made a calculated, conscious decision in order to protect himself and look good in the eyes of the America and the media. Granted some choices may have been regretable, but a choice either way. I wonder what the media would do with a president that can’t make a decision for the good of it people and country, because he is concerned a bad choice may damage his reputation or could be held against him? Not to mention, I can’t imagine the American people electing a president with the name Barack Hussein Obama. If that does happen it certainly won’t be because he got my vote.
