Clinical Health Psychology Definition

clinical health psychology definition
What does is a paradigm in clinical and health psychology?

I have to write an essay on the four major paradigms in psychopathology. I don’t want the answer because i would rather do that myself or else I’m not learning anything. However it would be a start if i even knew what a paradigm was. If possible could you illustrate with an example so that i can get my head round it (if the definition is complicated lol)
thanks :D
Thanks for your answers!! :D
Iv found them now; Genetic, Neuroscience, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioural (just in case you were wondering!)

A “paradigm” is a fancy way to say “a whole new way of thinking”.

Paradigm shifts in the field you may want to address in your paper include psychodynamic theory, behaviorism, and post-modernism/constructivism.

Best of luck on your paper,
~Dr. B.~
