Frozen spinach, grown in China, safe to eat?
Hello everyone,
The exceptional pricepoint at which I bought about 15 bags of frozen spinach, $.99 / 750g (almost 2 lbs), made me think the move to purchase the spinach is better than not eating any spinach and still having concerns about Chinese produce.
I believe that it’s inevitable that all of our produce will one day be grown in China, as it’s much easier to produce offshore than it is at home… at least years into the future, maybe not now.
What should I do? Not consume the spinach, suffer from health consequences, or eat the spinach and perhaps suffer from some consequences yet receive more benefits from the fact that I am eating nutritious food?
What do you think?
Av
if the spinach meets health regulations, which it would have to to be able to be sold in the US, then there shouldn’t be any consequences
