Why should Nebraska never have to pay medicaid costs, but the other 49 states will have to? where is justice?
The proposed health care bill includes a special – and no doubt UNCONSTITUTIONAL – provision that the State of Nebraska will NEVER have to pay medicaid costs, but that the OTHER 49 states will have to. This is the price that Senator Nelson charged for selling his vote to Harry Reid. Talk about corruption! If this thing gets through, all other 49 states should boycott all Nebraska products and services.
This incident tells us how the Federal government intends to fund the expansion of Medicaid under the bill — make the states pay for it !!! None of the states should have to pay for it. Exempting Nebraska is adding insult to injury, and if this is included in the final bill, there is certain to be legal action by the state.
The increased burden on individuals through higher health costs, mandatory expensive private health insurance, and higher state and local taxes will bring the standard of living in the U.S. down even further.
