Has anyone used chiropractice for colicky baby?
My son is nearly 7 weeks and started crying inconsolably last week every evening about 5pm til 7-8 pm. The health visitor suggested he might have colic and told us to put him on Cow and Gate comfort which we have. We have tried all the recommended tricks e.g. rocking, comforting, laying on stomach, white noise and are just sticking with cuddling in and comforting in different positions which work at the time. Have read on the net that chiropractic interventions can help. Does anyone have any experience of this?
We us a dummy with him which he loves (at all other times) but alot of the time when he is so upset he doesn’t seem able to suck it/can’t work out how to suck it
We used a Cranial Oestopath for our son (now 4) from when he was 3 weeks old. He was recommended by my Chiroprator as he had awful colic which none of the meds seemed to help with. It worked wonders for him.
I would highly recommend giving it a go. Find someone you feel you can trust and go for it.
